The format of the monthly online seminar series on “Iron-sulfur protein biogenesis” will have two speakers per date with a 30 min talk + 10 min discussion each. The current program runs until July 2021. The first seminar will be on February 11, with Beatrice Py and Dave Barondeau.
The project involves structure determination of novel metalloenzymes by X-ray crystallography, with a focus on enzymes catalyzing peptides (RiPPs) post-translational modifications. Our goal is to decipher the mechanism and mode of interactions between these enzymes and their substrate.
March 22nd-26th, 2021. The twinning program Timb3 of ITQB-NOVA (Lisbon), CIRMMP (Florence), and TU Berlin (Berlin) has organized a workshop on Vibrational Spectroscopy of Proteins.
At the Laboratory of Chemistry and Biology of Metals, CEA Grenoble. The goal is to implement bio-orthogonal chemistry in mammalian cells and apply it for the study of the copper chaperone Atox1 by different approaches such as super resolution fluorescence microscopy.
