A postdoctoral position (expected starting date: end 2024 – beginning 2025) is available at the “Institut des Sciences Moléculaires de Marseille” (iSm2, UMR 7313) within the frame of an ANR-funded project.
Yunfei Dang, from the Roessler group at Imperial College London, spent one week in the BiosCiences group, iSm2 (Institute of Molecular Sciences of Marseille). This project was supported by a grant from FrenchBIC.

A PhD position is available at the BIP laboratory in the “Biophysics of metalloproteins and dynamic systems” team in Marseille. The project deals with the study of periplasmic copper proteins involved in a yet to be determined bacterial copper resistance mechanism. The PhD work is expected to start in the fall of 2024.

The 9th FrenchBIC online webinar will take place on Friday December 15th at 10.30am, and it will be given by: Anaïs Pitto-Barry (Institut Galien, Orsay), Half-sandwich metal complexes for anticancer applications (abstract); Vincent Fourmond (BIP, Marseille), Electrochemical studies of CO2-reducing enzymes (abstract). The format of the seminar is two 30+10 min talks, followed by a meeting time in an online space for informal discussions. The seminar will be given online, there.
