Nous avons le plaisir de vous informer qu’un poste de maître de conférences en chimie bio-inorganique sera ouvert à l’ENS pour travailler dans l’équipe “metals in biology”. Je vous envoie le profil, version française et anglaise. Nous cherchons un ou une collaboratrice motivé.e par les études à l’interface avec le vivant sur les composés métalliques. Le profil en dit un peu plus et nous restons à la disposition de tous ceux qui auraient des questions.

Notez que:
– le site web mentionne la nécessité d’être “qualifié” par le CNU. Mais pour les candidats en poste à l’étranger ou étranger il est possible d’être qualifié par notre université à l’issue de la candidature. N’HESITEZ PAS à CANDIDATER.
-les pièces requises sont : la pièce d’identité, le diplôme de thèse, le rapport de soutenance (document produit par le jury à l’issue de la soutenance) et un unique fichier intitulé “présentation analytique” avec CV et références, votre liste de publications, une description de vos travaux antérieurs (recherche, enseignement), et une partie “projet d’intégration” à la fois en recherche et en enseignement (qui n’a pas besoin d’être longue à ce stade et sera étoffée pour l’oral en cas de pré-sélection. D’autres documents (document 1, 2…) peuvent être ajoutés de manière facultative : sélection de vos publications les plus significatives, lettres de recommandation.

The position for an assistant professor in bio-inorganic chemistry is open at the ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure, PSL university, Paris, France), to work in the “metals in biology” research group.

We are looking for a collaborator motivated by studies at the interface with the living systems involving metallic compounds. The profile says a bit more. We remain at the disposal of all of those who may have questions.

The applications for this position will be open on the website from the French ministry of research (https://www.galaxie.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr/ensup/candidats.html) from February 25 until March 30 4pm (Paris time) (position number 4226)

Note that:

-the website (galaxie) mentions a requirement for being qualified (“qualifié“). BUT, for foreign applicants or applicants employed abroad, this can be performed in a process in our university, upon application. Do not hesitate to apply.

-on the website, applicants have to download their ID (pièce d’identité), PhD diploma and a document issued after their PhD defense by the jury (rapport de soutenance), and a unique file (présentation analytique) with a CV, references, the complete list of publications, a description of their past work (including teaching) and a section motivating their application in our research group and as teaching staff (in other words, an integration project, that not need to be long in the writing document but will be extended if the applicant is selected for an oral presentation). Additional documents can be downloaded (document 1, 2…) that can include letters of support, a selection of publications, etc.
