[Expired] Two post-doc positions available involving metalloenzymes at the University of Georgia
Dear Colleagues,
I hope you are doing well in these unique times. I wanted to let you know that I have two post-doc positions available involving metalloenzymes. One is funded by NIH and involves the characterization of tungsten-containing enzymes from the human gut microbiome (see recent publication: doi: 10.1073/pnas.2109008118). The second is funded by DOE and focuses on the characterization of a new family of iron sulfur-based electron bifurcating enzymes (see recent publication: doi: 10.1126/sciadv.abm7546). Both positions involve a combination of biochemistry, anaerobic microbiology and/or genetics, and details on the two projects are attached. If you know of possible candidates who might be interested, then please pass on this information or let me know and I will contact them.
