Hydrogenase Lecture Series – Replay
March 3rd, March 24th, April 21st, May 26th, Oct 22nd
Dear hydrogenase community and metalloenzyme lovers,
We are sorry we won’t be able to meet in person this year for the Hydrogenase Conference in Walla-Walla. However, ‘the show must go on’ and it is important to continue sharing science and stimulating discussion among the community.
Therefore, James Birrell (MPI-CEC, Germany), Sven Stripp (Freie Universität Berlin, Germany), Gustav Berggren (Uppsala University, Sweden) and myself (University of Oxford, UK) came together to organise a Hydrogenase Lecture Series in an online format.
We will have one Lecture per month, and it will take place the last Thursday of the month via Zoom at the dates/times indicated below. The format will consist of two back-to-back talks of around 20 min plus 10 min discussion each. Later this month, we will have an exciting talk from a real legend in the field: Prof. Michael W. Adams from University of Georgia. In subsequent months, we will have back to back speakers from a mixture of established PIs, early career researchers and young investigators.
We are delighted to share the terrific programme we have put together for the first three months (February, March and April).

Please note that the opening Lecture on Thursday Feb 24th will have a slightly different format. The Hydrogenase Lecture Series and the Hydrogenase Conference organisers will give a short introduction to the event followed by Prof. Michael W. Adams’ opening Lecture!
Please do feel free to share the link with your lab members and peers! We have tried to include as many people from the hydrogenase community and beyond as possible but in case we have missed someone please spread the word!
Looking forward see many of your at the Opening Lecture!
Best wishes and kind regards,
Patricia, James, Sven and Gustav.
