[Expired] Two fully funded openings for PhD students in the domains of BIOINORGANIC CHEMISTRY and ELECTROCHEMISTRY
The MILTON group (University of Geneva) has two fully funded openings for PhD students with interest in the domains of BIOINORGANIC CHEMISTRY and ELECTROCHEMISTRY. These positions are available from July 2020 (or later, depending on how the COVID-19 situation develops). Specifically, these PhD studentships concern biochemical, bioinorganic and bioelectrochemical studies of the nitrogenase-related metalloenzyme “dark operative protochlorophyllide oxidoreductase”.
Specific, desirable skills include:
- Catalysis (photo or electro)
- Electrochemistry
- DNA cloning and/or protein expression/purification
- UV/vis spectroscopy, gas chromatography, liquid chromatography
