[Expired] The Faculty of Science at the University of Zurich invites applications for an Assistant Professor Tenure Track in Digital Bioinorganic Chemistry.

While all areas of biological inorganic chemistry will be considered, upon equal qualifications, preference will be given to applicants with an interest in research directions complementing those of existing groups. This professorship lies within the UZH Digital Society Initiative and hence its research must have a strong link to aspects of digitalization, e.g. Big Data, bioinformatics, simulations, spectroscopy, high throughput, machine learning, or data mining. The selected candidate is expected to lead an independent research group linking experimental and computational methods and to participate in teaching at all levels of the BSc, MSc and PhD programs. The University of Zurich has an established program for career progression allowing promotion to associate and full professor upon successful evaluation.
