SUMMARY:2nd Edition of the Italian–French Coordination Chemistry Days
DESCRIPTION:Dear colleagues\, \nWe are pleased to inform you that the 2nd Edition of the Italian–French Coordination Chemistry Days will take place within the framework of the INORG2026 congress\, to be held in Turin\, Italy\, from 1 to 4 September 2026. \nhttps://www.inorg2026.unito.it/ \nThis event is jointly organized by the Società Chimica Italiana (SCI) and the Société Chimique de France (SCF)\, with the support of the Divisione di Chimica Inorganica (DCI-SCI)\, the Division de Chimie de Coordination (DCC-SCF)\, and the Gruppo tematico di Chimica Organometallica (GICO-SCI). \nFollowing the first French–Italian congress held in Strasbourg in 2024\, this new edition aims to strengthen scientific interactions between the French and Italian communities in inorganic\, coordination and organometallic chemistry. Given the proximity between Grenoble and Turin\, we hope that this conference will provide an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange and collaboration for the Grenoble community. \nThe scientific programme will cover a broad range of topics\, including coordination and supramolecular chemistry\, organometallic chemistry and catalysis\, magnetochemistry\, energy and photochemistry\, green and bioinorganic chemistry\, inorganic materials and nanoparticles\, inorganic medicinal chemistry\, as well as computational approaches applied to inorganic systems. \nThe deadline for abstract submission is 15 May 2026. \nWe strongly encourage you to submit your work and to take part in this French–Italian meeting. \nWe look forward to seeing you in Turin in September!

SUMMARY:96th Harden Conference - MoTEC 2027: Molybdenum & Tungsten Enzymes
DESCRIPTION:A satellite to ICBIC\, York\, 25-30 july 2027 \n2027 sees the 30th Anniversary of ‘MoTEC: The Molybdenum & Tungsten Enzymes Conference’\, and to mark the occasion the meeting has been adopted as the 96th Harden Conference supported by The Biochemical Society. This is a multi-disciplinary meeting that brings together chemists\, microbiologists\, enzymologists and much more – including translational and applied researchers. The dates have been finalised as Monday 19th July 2027 – Thursday 22nd July 2027. \nThe 2027 event will be held at the Glasgow Westerwood Hotel. This will be an entirely residential conference where the registration fee covers accommodation for three nights (Monday 19th\, Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st July) and all meals Monday-Thursday. In Harden Conference style\, the meeting is due to start at lunchtime on the Monday and conclude at around 3PM on the Thursday. Super early bird registration is open until 19th April 2027 where you will find the best deals\, especially for PhD students. \nFor those of you who wish to book extra nights at the venue\, this will be possible.
