Dear colleagues,

I am very happy to announce the results of the FrenchBIC elections.

Christelle Hureau from the coordination chemistry lab in Toulouse, has been elected vice-president. She will replace Clotilde Policar in January, and will become president in 2023.

On behalf of the board of FrenchBIC and of all the French bioinorganic chemistry community, I warmly thank Clotilde Policar for her contribution. As president and then vice-president, she made FrenchBIC very dynamic and gave a lot of visibility to our actions.

I suggest that you save the dates of our 2021 events: the 3rd METBIO school will take place in Marseille and Carry-le-Rouet from the 12th to the 17th of September, and the annual meeting will be organized in Obernai from October 10th to 13th. Please make sure that your colleagues register to our mailing list to receive futher updates.

I wish you all a merry chistmas and a happy new year.

Christophe Léger.
