[Expired] 9th International Symposium on Bioorganometallic Chemistry

York, UK, July 28 – August 1 2019

We are pleased to invite you to the 9th International Symposium on Bioorganometallic Chemistry which will held at the University of York between 28th July and 1st August 2019. The conference will cover a wide range of topics in modern bioorganometallic chemistry including

  • Medical applications of organometallic compounds.
  • Biologically inspired organometallic catalysis.
  • Supramolecular bioorganometallic chemistry.
  • Organometallic-modified proteins and nucleic acids.
  • CO-releasing molecules.

There will be opportunities for oral and poster presentation in all of these themes and the broader area of bioorganometalic chemistry.

York is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the UK and the programme has been designed to include not only stimulating scientific sessions, but ample time to explore the city which is dominated by the Minster, seat of the archbishop of York, and medieval walls. On the Wednesday, there will be optional excursion to see some of the surrounding sites in North Yorkshire and on Thursday evening the conference dinner will take place in the historic King’s Manor, where the Council of the North was held between 1539 and 1641.

The conference registration fee will include lunch and dinner (except on the evening of the conference excursion and dinner) and en suite college accommodation which is only a short walk from the conference venue. There will also be the opportunity to apply for student bursaries to assist with the costs of the conference.
