[Expired] PhD in the group of Ross Milton, dpt of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry at the University of Geneva

A PhD student is sought from January 1st 2020. The Milton Laboratory will be formed within the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry at the University of Geneva (Switzerland) from September 2019. Research interests in the group surround metalloenzyme electrochemistry and electron transfer/catalysis studies, with the overall target of producing valuable chemical commodities from N2, H+ and CO2 (or similar) in new biotechnologies. Candidates will have an interest in one or more of the following: electrochemistry, catalysis, metalloenzymes, biological electron transfer, inorganic/organometallic synthesis, biochemistry, and molecular biology (protein production and modification for the above studies).

The candidate will also participate in practical classes and teaching on the Chemistry BSc/MSc programmes.

MSc in Sciences required. Must be eligible to work in Switzerland. Training in Chemistry preferred.
